Michelle O'Loughlin

I’m an emerging artist but I’ve been emerging since I was a child. I completed my art foundation and trained professionally as a fashion designer in the UK working later in London, Sydney and Hong Kong. My inspiration comes from lost traditions and twisted memories, and the natural marine environment.. I stitch my themes together with intention to create with the heart not the head. My medium of choice is porcelain which I create my own fabric with by changing its form and firing it to the point where it morphs into lightness and strength.
