Krystie Wade
Through painting, Wade reimagines our engagement with different landscapes, exploring and pulling apart the topographical, ecological, and emotional aspects of nature through multiple perspectives and dynamic colour compositions. Wade has an extensive exhibition history both nationally and internationally and has been included in a few publications such as Dick Frizzell book ‘It’s All About the Image’ She was selected in 2018 as an artist in residence at the Karekare house. In 2022 she was part of a group show at the Art house Trust called Crosses and Losses. 2023 was selected as a finalist in the Painters and Printmakers award.
