“Joanna King is a contemporary New Zealand artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland 2026 has seen her branching out into print making of all varieties and has led her towards still life. The Bardene collection this year are cyanotypes , an original, 19th-century alternative photographic process featuring a rich, one-of-a-kind Prussian blue monochromatic shade processed with the sun. They each feature iconic Crown Lynn vessels and botanicals familiar to us all like dahlias and peonies.
