Jessie Christieson
Jessie is a self taught artist from Governor’s Bay and has long had an interest in mixed media works, from collage and fabric work, stitched paperworks and pallet knife textural abstracts to the smooth silkiness of acrylic work under resin. In recent years, it is these gorgeously ‘organic’ flowing paintings, enrobed in resin that Jessie finds herself immersed in daily, creating entirely unique, bespoke art pieces. Often remarkably oceanic or galactic in nature, her art is a response to both her emotional state and the elements around her, which together produces very unique, beautiful and engrossing artworks.
