Charlotte Johnson
I’m a mixed media artist inspired by the ocean and lived experiences. My emotive artworks have gained a national audience as part of several exhibitions, books and magazines, as well as international publications. FATHOM (2023) was my debut solo exhibition at Lake House Arts, Takapuna, visualising depression through ocean-themed contemporary portraiture. DWELL (2024), 250 Gallery Ponsonby, explored identity and belonging through mixed media paintings incorporating seawater. This formed the final major project for my successful MA in Fine Art.
