This series Floating Kisses, was inspired by the pulsing vibrancy of Rothko s paintings and his exploration of the potential of colour and form on the human psyche. Viridian green is a colour closely associated with nature, confidence, and high energy and is thought to promote feelings of liveliness, freshness, and creativity.
I believe that everything has a kind of consciousness, and this work seeks to explore both our consciousness with respect to water, but also what we might call the consciousness of water itself.
