Cathy Carter
Cathy Carter is a conceptual artist. Carter graduated from AUT with a Master of Art and Design (Hons) 2013. Carter has been a finalist in the Molly Morpeth 3D and Painting and Drawing Awards 2023, 2020, the NCAA 2023, the Wallace Art Awards (2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2014), Sydney HeadOn Prize (2019, 2018, 2016 and 2015) Walker and Hall Waiheke Prize (2023, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016) Parkins Prize (2020, 2019). Carter has exhibited across Aotearoa, Sydney, Paris, Sczcecin, Shanghai, Cincinnati Ohio, Miami and New York City. Her work is held in TheWallaceArtsTrust, TheParliamentArt Collection and TheFisherTrust.
